The project, funded by the Templeton Foundation, was called "Science and the Spiritual Quest." I am the Faculty Facilitator for the philosophy of science section of Dr. Andrew Weil's Program in Integrative Medicine program. I am an Adjunct Professor at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology at the Graduate Theological Union.
In July 1997, I was an invited faculty member at the Thomistic Institute, sponsored by the JacquesMaritain Center at the University of Notre Dame. I presented a paper there, entitled From Mendel to Biotechnology: A Critical Look at the Historical Development and Philosophical Foundations of Modern Biology.
In March of 2001, I was invited to present a paper at the IX annual conference of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, Italy. The paper was entitled A God for Evolution.
In October of 2003, I was a presenter at the University of San Francisco/CTNS conference "Reductionism and Emergence." My paper was entitled True to Life? Biological Models of Origin and Evolution.
