The
interactive pages below allow you to select any combination of fluorescent
tags to examine their excitation or emission properties. Use this site
to understand the differences or similarities between various available
fluorescent probes. You can use the filter and laser buttons to compare
excitation and/or emission properties with the filters that our confocal
system uses. Also note that some blue dyes illustrated here are not appropriate for the confocal system because we do not have a laser that can excite these dyes in the ultraviolet spectrum.
