special reference to the Zeiss 510 Meta spectral imaging confocal
The interactive
pages below allow you to select any combination of fluorescent tags to
examine their excitation or emission properties. Use this site to understand
the differences or similarities between various available fluorescent
probes. You can use the filter and laser buttons to compare excitation
and/or emission properties with the filters that our confocal system uses.
One of the attributes ot the Zeiss system that our Nikon confocal doesn't
have is a 405 nm laser, which now allows us to image blue dyes such as
DAPI and Hoechst.
