Application Process
Application Procedures: Please send all application materials to the MCB program coordinator at the address below by January 1.

- STEP 1: Complete the MCB application form that can be downloaded by clicking here.
- STEP 2: Arrange for additional material to be sent directly to the address shown below. This includes:

1. Two letters of recommendation from people who are familiar with your work (one of these letters should be from your research advisor).  Remember to give your letter writers plenty of notice. Click here to download the forms for letters of recommendation.
2. Official University of Arizona transcripts.
3. A personal statement that should not exceed one page in length (please use 12-inch Times font, single-spacing, and 1-inch margins).  The personal statement should include your reasons for applying to the MCB-AMP program, a summary of the research you have already done, and future plans.

- STEP 3:  After review of this material by a committee at the MCB department, you will be notified regarding your admission to MCB-AMP.  If admitted to MCB-AMP, please contact Jennifer Cubeta at (520) 621-1073 to schedule an appointment to discuss your next steps regarding registration and applying to the UA Graduate College.
