*** The University is changing the way payroll is processed. This change will affect every employee on campus - students, faculty and staff members alike.
Right now, you all fill out paper timesheets and turn them in to me where I then manually enter them into the payroll system. Paper timesheets will no longer be required - the new system UAccess will be completely paperless. As a non-exempt employee, each of you will need to report your hours using the online payroll system known as UAccess. The new system will go-live on September 28th of this year. Training is available for all employees. An online tutorial is available right now on the UITS training website. Please click the link below for access to the online tutorial. You will need your NET ID and password to access the online training.
Starting September 28th you will need to use this system to submit your hours if you wish to be paid. Your faculty mentor will need to approve your hours electronically as well, but your mentor can't approve your hours unless you have entered them. So I strongly urge you to access the webpage at the url given above to be sure that you understand what is expected of you starting September 28. In person training is also available. Once I familiarize myself with this new system I will offer in person training at the Life Sciences South building.

Please NOTE: You will need the Adobe Acrobat reader plugin to view and print these documents. If you don't have the plugin, you can get it at the Adobe Website . Please follow the directions on the Adobe Website for downloading and installing the viewer. The size of the file is approximately 5.5 Mbytes so downloading over a slow connection (i.e., 14.4 or 28.8 modems) is not recommended.
The timesheets for undergraduate workers, including UBRP students, are now available online. The time sheets are pre-dated for each pay period, so make sure you download the correct one.
The same rules for submitting your time sheet apply. You must submit a printed original of your time sheet with your supervisor's signature on it by the Thursday marked on each time sheet. In an emergency you can fax your time sheets to Christine Duddleston, provided you turn in the signed original by the following Monday by 10:00 a.m. the latest.
Instructions: Using Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer, click on the timesheet link below that corresponds to the pay period you need. If you have the Adobe Acrobat plug-in, the form will be viewable in the browser window. Print the form out and fill it in by hand. If you have problems viewing the forms please contact Christine Duddleston firstname.lastname@example.org for help.
***Please make sure all timesheets are written in ink (pencil will not be accepted). Please fill in the number of hours worked each day. Any changes to your timesheet must be verified by your supervisor.
You can now fill in your timesheets online! Simply click on the name, EID and days of the week to type in your information. You will still need to print these out and obtain the appropriate signatures. Please enter your time correctly! 15 minutes is written as .25, one-half hour is written as .50 and so on.
