Four Spermatozoa

Here are four C. elegans spermatozoa. The one at left center has just started to form its pseudopod. (The colors in this scanning electron micrograph, like those of the other electron micrographs in this gallery, are artificial. Electron microscopy cannot reproduce true colors.)
